Coaching Conversations Program
Helping people leaders evolve as coaches to amplify team performance.
Five Essential Coaching Skills:
Fostering a Safe Space
Managers and leaders that coach effectively create and nurture an open and collaborative environment with their employees. They encourage taking risks, speaking up, and asking questions without generating fear, humiliation or punishment.
During this session, participants will learn essential strategies to foster a safe space.
Asking Powerful Questions
Managers and leaders that coach effectively are able to transform typical, one-dimensional dialogue into robust, three-dimensional conversations just by asking powerful questions. They encourage deeper reflection, generate fresh perspectives, and minimize their own temptation of giving advice.
During this session, participants will learn how to craft and pose powerful questions that transform conversations, relationships and self-awareness.
Listening Deeply
Listening deeply builds on the skills of active listening by paying attention to employees' values, beliefs, and strengths, and not just their words or messages. Coach-like managers listen deeply and gain important insights for the benefit of the employee that promote trust, safety, and empowerment.
During this session, participants will practice listening in new, powerful ways that enable them to hear more than ever before.
Inspiring Action & Accountability
It is one thing for a manager to assign a goal, and another for a coach-like manager to anchor goals in what's important and to ask questions that draw out the employee's ideas on how to achieve that goal. This approach promotes strategic thinking, empowerment and accountability.
During this session, participants will learn a repeatable, four-part structure that inspires action and accountability.
Reframing Beliefs & Assumptions
Coaching managers help employees see situations from new angles by adjusting their mindset and shifting where their attention naturally goes.
During this session, participants will explore and practice different strategies to help their employees make these shifts so they can be more action-oriented and productive.

“Each person holds so much power within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little coaching, and the greatest things can happen.”
